Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to participate by hanging out with the couch surfers staying with my old neighbours/ friends of mine and showing them around Quito.
I also couch surfed in Colombia for one night. My boyfriend and I stayed with a host the was originally from Spain but living in Medellin. It was a great experience. We arrived, made and ate dinner together and relaxed and then pretty much fell asleep.
Now I'm looking to host people visiting my small city just outside of Toronto, and also to get to know other couchsurfers in my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favourite Couch Surfing experience was when I met a woman from Denmark travelling with her 10 year old daughter. I ate dinner with them one night and it was interesting to hear her stories of travelling for 6 months with her daughter and then to listen to her daughter talk about their trip.

I can completely converse in Spanish and have a very good understanding of South American culture (i know thats a generalization but I didn't know how else to put it)
I'm a really good listener.

I'm learning how to play the drum (ie. Djembe) and i'd love to meet anyone who can play and wants to teach me/play with me.
I also hoolahoop a lot!
