ABOUT ME

Hi everyone I'm Sabrina,I live in Montreal, which is a wonderful city to be at in Québec, Canada.

A little more about me: I have studied in psychology at University and i am coordinating a housing program for people dealing with severe mental health problems and that are in process of recovery (in all aspects possible). It is incredible what you can see, learn, feel from the people i have worked with and I have been passionate about it ever since i've started! I am proud to help people ge through tough times, as it has equally helped me to discover myself even more.

I tend to say I am easy to talk to and I am always ready to have a good warm laugh. I am a very lively person and my curiosity has brought me so many good experiences. I'm always ready to share what I have with others and have great heartfelt conversations with others.

I want people to feel welcomed and comfortable, and will do the best I can to provide it, as well as make time to hang out whenever it's possible. I do work alot, and am very passionate about it, but It is always a blessing to be surrounded by people who have seen more than I do. I personally crave all the stories we can share around a good meal of a light beer.

I've been silently subscribed since 2013 but started hosting in 2016 (2 unknown gests, and many others). Traveling is so much more than moving from one place to another and cumulating pictures of places around the world: when it involves people, those memories have their own setting of emotions, senses, histories, expectations, etc.It's always easier to sync in with someone local who knows where-why and how to guide you through the charms of a place.

My house situation right now is hectic (3 cats living separately and a dog) but me and my boyfriend have loved the hosting experience and are willing to do it again for travelers that need a place to stay. I am not a guide, but I sure know great places to go to in Montreal.

When i'm traveling, I like to meet locals who can show me around or suggest me their very own view on their city. I am very respectful of my hosts and enjoy their company.

I live with my boyfriend and we just moved into a opened 6 and a half with 2 closed room, but we do have space to welcome someone on 1 sofa-bed, couch. We have linens and everything to make you feel comfortable, but the couch is in an open room. We can move it into our office which can be closed.

We can make space in the fridge for food and you can use the kitchen space.

We have 3 cats AND one affectionate dog. You have to be comfortable with dogs, since she looooooooooves strangers. All of you allergic people, i'm really sorry.

As for the keys and house rules, it has to be discussed :).

Don't hesitate to ask for a stay. We do prioritize verified members (phone, account payment) because I make sure mine is as well.
