ABOUT ME

Hola! My name is Sabriye (pronounced Saab-ree-yay) and I am a student from the US currently studying in Sevilla, España. I am 20 years old and I have more energy than most people I know--especially when it comes to my number one passion: traveling-- experiencing new cultures and meeting new, exciting, interesting people is what I'm all about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently studying in Sevilla and living with a host-family so I cannot host anyone, but I am looking for fun, welcoming people around Europe to host me! Once I get back to the states I would love to host travelers either at my home in Grand Rapids, MI or in Ann Arbor, MI.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet couch-surfed or hosted one, but I am so excited to do so! I've heard lots of great stories from my friends who have, and I cannot wait to have my own :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am currently having the time of my life living abroad, it is the most exciting experience I have had thus far in my life. So I would have to say this period of my life is the most amazing yet! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I have not yet traveled the world (that's my life goal), I have been to many places already, and I love telling stories from my travels. My father's family lives in Turkey and that is my favorite place to go and tell people about. I can speak a little Turkish, and I am fluent in English and Spanish and have experience in teaching people both. I love sharing my own stories and experiences, so I am very willing to share when people are willing to listen :)
I hope to learn as much as I can from the people I meet in life. I believe education is very important, and the best education any person can receive is through travel and meeting people of different backgrounds.
