ABOUT ME

I love school, volunteering, traveling, and experiencing new cultures, so i'd say medical non-profit work is the way i'm headed. I love my family and miss them terribly. I strive to be completely spontaneous and creative, whether its dressing up in wild costumes or taking off for a last-minute camping trip. I'm always willing to try new things, even foods, although i'm a rather picky eater. I knew how to bake by the time I was 6, and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen. I adore piano music and wish I still played on a daily basis. Basically I'm easy-going and always searching for adventure, although school is a big factor in my life.

Vices (these are always good to know): 1) I am way too frugal for a 20 year old college student. I don't know how to spend money on myself. 2) Whenever I start reading a good book, I can't focus on anything else. I simply want to read the entire novel in one sitting. 3) I am ridiculously susceptible to any type of sickness. If you're sick, I will be. 4) I love cycling. A little too much at times. 5) I have a caffeine addiction and love any warm drink - coffee, tea, hot chocolate..mmm

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to surf or host a surfer because I am currently studying abroad in Niger, Africa and I lived in on-campus dorms for the last two years in Boston. When I return home in January, however, I will be in my own appartment and would be happy to host anyone passing through Boston!

ohh I have so many interests: my true passion in college has been cycling. Anytime, anywhere. I've gone for midnight bike rides in Boston and biked across America summer 2007. Besides that, I love to cook, its a great creative outlet, since I cannot draw or paint! I love traveling, and I enjoy being outside as much as possible: hiking, camping, swimming, and exploring. I also love to read and will read any genre of books. Of course, I also love to travel and hope to see as much of the world as I can.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I biked across the United States - from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Canon Beach, Oregon - in summer 2007, raising money for affordable housing. I'd say Europe of Africa are my next continents on the list.
