Overview
About Me
Namaste! I’m Sachin Sharma, and I live in the quiet and beautiful village of Sandhan, near Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. I share my home with my loving wife, our cheerful little son, and my kind-hearted parents. In our family, guests are treated as part of the family from the moment they arrive — it’s just the way we were raised.
I believe every traveler carries a story, and I love the idea of exchanging those stories over a cup of chai while you experience the warmth of true Indian hospitality. Our home is simple, but it’s always open, filled with good food, laughter, and care.
What You’ll Experience
Life in our village is peaceful and pure. You can walk along green fields, watch farmers at work, hear the birds at sunrise, and connect with locals who will greet you with genuine smiles. We cook fresh, traditional meals and would be happy to share our recipes and traditions with you.
Just a short trip away is Hastinapur, a place of deep historical and mythological importance, where the stories of ancient India come alive.
If you’re looking for an authentic cultural experience — not just seeing India, but feeling it — my home and my heart are open for you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people, learning about their cultures, and making friends from around the world. Living in a small Indian village, I want to give travelers a chance to experience the real India — the traditions, the hospitality, and the simple joys of rural life that you can’t find in big cities.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about offering a place to stay, but about sharing moments, exchanging stories, and building memories together. Every guest brings a little piece of their world into my home, and in return, I hope to share a piece of mine.
