ABOUT ME

Not sure what you couch people want to know, but I was born and raised in Ottawa. Not much of a town to visit, but there are some solid events that take place during the year. If you're ever down in the Ottawa, Ontario region, I'd definitely be up for showing you around the city.

PHILOSOPHY

Not all that into philosphy. Although... "shit happens". Just let life take you wherever... enjoy it... and visit all that you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now my traveling is fairly limited. I don't get to do much because work is keeping me really busy. (Although when I travel FOR work - thats another story)

August 20, 2009: I've decided I'm going to go to the airport on my last day of work for the summer and take the next flight out to anywhere. Brazil? Argentina? Asia? Europe? ... who knows where it'll go. But be sure that I'll be messaging a bunch of people for last minute couches! Please help me out!

2011: That 2009 trip was unreal. A story I will share when we meet. Currently heading to India for 3 weeks in October. Have not been in 15+ years.

Update: India was amazing. Had a great experience there and met a ton of people.

2012: I'm about to catch a random flight out July 14/15, 2012 and we'll see where I land. I'll be sending out random requests last second due to this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. My attempts failed horribly in the summer of 2008 (everyone ended up going on vacation around the same time - even after messaging 20+ people).

Hopefully soon! If so... I'd totally take that person out for food and drinks. I think it would be an awesome experience.

Interests

I'm always up for anything fun. If you know of a good place to go skydiving or bungee jumping - LETS GO!

I'm also up for bars/clubs late into the night... so let me know the place and I'll be there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in 2009, I went to the airport and took the next flight out from Ottawa. I ended up doing that after every city I went to.

Ottawa -> Oslo, Norway -> Pisa, Italy -> Florence, Italy -> Girona, Spain -> Barcelona, Spain -> Paris, France.

I had some amazing experiences and stories along that time. Travelled myself and will never forget it. Got lost (stood on the wrong side of the train station tracks) and even ended up skydiving because of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love hearing about people's life experienced. I love a good story and conversation and if something is really intriguing, I could sit there all day listening to it.
