Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing because I was traveling alone and I thought it was great for meeting people. I also like the idea of having someone local telling me about the city, make some nontouristic recommendations, and if possible hanging out with me. I was gratefully surprised about people kindness and how helpful they were with me. It is inspiring!! I love this community.
