About Me
Heyyyya. Here's a little background info about me: I am currently living in a small city in Spain called Zamora. I am originally from Toronto. I grew up in Texas. And last but not least, I was born in Pakistan!
+ I absolutely love food, devouring it, making it, looking at pictures of it. I think food is memories. I love to cook, and if you can host, I would love to cook something for you!
+ I looooove art. Especially, I love the fantastical notions presented in works of Kandinsky and Joan Miro.
+ semi-professional photographer hell bent on capturing the moments of the world, especially the smaller spectacles thatre played out in everyday life
+ I've never couch surfed before but have heard amazing things about it. It's ability to connect humans across cultures, through divisions, across language barriers is beyond phenomenal!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never couchurfed before, I was always too scared of the notion. But after traveling A LOT this past year, I've discovered the wonderful beauty of human connection, of localized experiences, and the art of story telling. I want to indulge in of this through my couchsurfing experiences!!

Music, Movies, and Books
These days, I am listening to a lot of French electronic, Polo and Pan is pretty much my life nowadays. I really really love electronic relaxation music, or Vaporwave! Basically any song that makes me feel as if I have just gone on a journey, I will love it! .
I majored in Literature and Critical Theory while in university so as a result, my list of favourite books is expansive. Right now, I am in the middle of reading 'Tropic of Cancer' by Henry Miller and 'Cosmocomics' by Italo Calvino. 'Ulysses' by James Joyce pretty much changed my life!. Through his way of way writing, he taught me to break free of previously-held notions, and that anything goes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have managed to learn self-discpline, and the art of centering conversations around a smile.
