ABOUT ME

former street kid, habitual rucksack wanderer, I love to grow food.

Originally from Southern Ontario, I spent my younger years toting a rucksack all over the country. I studied permaculture in my twenties, and helped to establish several urban food gardens before taking off out west.

I traded in my rucksack for a little blue van, and my wandering habits for a tiny farmhouse in the valley. I still enjoy weekend adventures, but now have a tiny farm plot to care for. I love photography, camping, fishing, and spending most of my time outdoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

every place i settle becomes a flop house/drop in center!

my couch is always open if ever i have one and am not surfing the couch myself.. i don't mind sharing my space. even my tent if necessary!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed various couches in winters when living primarily outdoors.. have had many people stay on my couch [when i had one] my house is always full!
never had the opportunity to take advantage of this resource as I didn't learn of it's existence until after my couchsurfing days.

surfed couches in CoalDale AB, Nelson BC, Vancouver BC, Niagara ON, Toronto ON, Ottawa ON, Kitchener ON, Lake Echo NS, Halifax NS.. but mostly, i stick to the tent!
