About Me

Hello! I’m a postdoctoral researcher in mechanical engineering, currently based in Curitiba, Brazil. I have hosting spaces available both here in Curitiba and in my hometown of Birjand, Iran, so feel free to reach out if you’re planning a trip to either spot. Traveling is one of my biggest passions—I’ve explored diverse cultures, tried exotic foods, and hiked through stunning landscapes around the world. Through Couchsurfing, I’ve made lifelong friends from all walks of life, and I love connecting with open-minded, kind-hearted people like you. Whether we’re sharing stories over a home-cooked meal, exploring local hidden gems, or just chatting about life and science, I’m all about creating meaningful experiences. Let’s make some memories together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love it so much. I have a passion for exploring the world and experiencing new cultures.

Interests

Traveling all over the world 🌍✨
Nothing lights me up more than throwing a backpack in the trunk, cranking up the playlist, and chasing the horizon. I’ve road-tripped 4,500 km across Iran’s deserts and mountains, hitchhiked through the Balkans, tasted pão de queijo fresh from Curitiba’s markets at 6 a.m., and watched the sunrise from a fisherman’s boat in the Caspian Sea.
I’m addicted to:
• Hidden street-food stalls that only locals know
• Off-season adventures when the landmarks are empty and the people are friendlier
• Long drives with zero plans and maximum stories
• Collecting passport stamps like Pokémon cards
• Learning how to curse, flirt, and say “cheers” in every new language
Currently dreaming of: Patagonia’s glaciers, Hokkaido’s powder snow, the Trans-Siberian in winter, and that one perfect bowl of ramen in a Tokyo alley at 2 a.m.
If you’ve got a crazy route, a spare seat, or just a wild travel tale, hit me up. My car’s tank is full, my couch is open, and my heart’s already halfway to the next border. Let’s go make the world smaller, one shared ride at a time! 🚗💨😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 4,500 km across Iran in a single epic road trip, from the lush Caspian forests in the north to the golden dunes of the Dasht-e Lut desert, camping under star-filled skies and sharing tea with nomadic families along the way.
Now I’d love to share that same spirit of adventure with you! In Curitiba, let’s explore the breathtaking Botanical Garden at sunrise, wander the fairy-tale streets of Santa Felicidade over plates of Brazilian-Italian feast, or hike to hidden waterfalls in the Atlantic rainforest. In Iran, we can chase turquoise mosques in Isfahan, ski the Alborz mountains, or road-trip the ancient Silk Road—my car is ready whenever yours is! Whether it’s a weekend escape in southern Brazil or a cross-continental journey through Persia’s wonders, let’s hit the road and turn strangers into lifelong travel buddies. 🚗

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a postdoctoral researcher in Mechanical Engineering at UTFPR (Federal Technological University of Paraná) in Curitiba, Brazil. My expertise spans advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing (3D printing), sustainable materials, and automotive technology, the field where I earned my BSc and first fell in love with turning ideas into machines that move the world.
What I can teach:
• How to design and 3D-print real mechanical parts (from idea to final product)
• Basics of CAD modeling (Fusion 360, SolidWorks) and FEA simulation
• Topology optimization for lighter, stronger components
• Automotive essentials: engine tuning, suspension geometry, brake system design, and even EV powertrain basics
• How to diagnose and fix common car problems on the road (perfect for road-trip survival!)
• Persian language & beautiful Farsi calligraphy
• Authentic Iranian recipes: perfect saffron tahdig, juicy kebabs, and ghormeh sabzi that will blow your mind
What I’d love to learn from you:
• Your native language (even just “thank you” and “cheers” in your accent makes me smile)
• Your grandmother’s secret recipe
• Any skill you’re obsessed with: photography, salsa dancing, coding, guitar, coffee brewing… teach me something new!
Whether we’re sketching a race-car suspension over breakfast, 3D-printing a custom phone mount for the dashboard, swapping engine stories in the garage, or just cooking together while arguing about the best kebab marinade, I’m here to share knowledge, tools, and laughter. Let’s learn from each other and build memories that last longer than any prototype! 🏎️🛠️🔥✨
