Hi everyone, I’m Sofia. I’m from Belarus, that’s why my profile name written like ”Safiya” (Belarusian spelling did it with my name).

I’ve been traveling since my childhood. My parents say that for better understanding the life and ourselves, we need to explore the way people living outside the motherland. I belive we need to communicate with people from different countries to see what they are better at and learn from them if possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My hometown is Mogilev, but for last two years I’d been lived in the capital of my country - Minsk, where I studied chinese. I’m in China now taking a year language course. It’s a very big chance for me not only to learn the language, but also to experience a lot of different things here by traveling across the country.
