Hi. I’m originally from Slovakia, but I currently live in Bavaria. I planned to stay for just a few months, to try living in another country and learn a bit of a new language, but German is very difficult, and it’s been years now 😃

Next to learning this "wunderbare Sprache" I spend my time also visiting and discovering this country. I always like to visit events in the city, cinemas, theatre, pubs ..Stadtbibliothek is also my favourite place.
Then there are activities outside the city. I like biking, hiking and climbing. The nature here is very nice, but I am a little bit missing bigger mountains. I hope that I will have enough time to visit Alps this summer.

I like travelling and making spontaneous decisions. When I visit a new place, sometimes I throw up a coin and let it decide which direction I should take. I found some unknown and very interesting places by this way.

But the best thing on travelling is meeting with the people, sharing the stories, discovering new opinions, openning new views and enjoing the trips together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love this all. When is bad weather I watch movies, when is nice I read books somewhere under tree and listen music.

My most favourite movies:
Dune I, II, Into the Wild, Green Mile, Big Fish, This Must Be the Place, Alien, Blade Runner and my favourite directors are Frank Darabont, Tim Burton, Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, Hajao Mijazaki, Darren Aronofsky

Series: Mr. Robot, The Dark Crystal, GoT, Black Books, Twin Peaks and more :)

I really like to also watch climbing videos and events.

Music: I like all genres. Favourite grups and musicians - Pearl Jam, Johnt Butler Trio, Sigur Rós, Ásgeir, Band of Horses, Kings of Convenience, Marin Maraic, Chopin, Four Tet, Bonobo, A Perfect Circle, Tool, Ben Howard, etc. :)

At the moment, I’m really into metal, and this winter I have a lot of concerts lined up in various German cities 🤘

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning new things. I have to try everything what looks interesting - several kinds of travelling, sports, musical instrument, languages and others atractive activities.
I want to share my experience with it and maybe help to improve level of languages speaking together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can learn you few words in Slovak (or Czech) language. Cook for you (or teach you how to cook) traditional (and national) Slovak food "bryndzové halušky". Show how to play the guitar (I wrote that like for 8 years, today I know maybe few chords :D). Maybe you want to climb or boulder with me :) Usually I take with me my coffee stuff so I can make some tasty coffee :) ..and of course I can share my travel stories and positive mood :)
