Hello ! I’m Saga, I’m from Sweden but am now living in Paris doing my PhD in political science. I love couch surfing but unfortunately do not have much time for travelling lately. I am finally in a slightly larger space in Paris (before it was 9m2…) so I’m happy to be able to host people now as well :)

I really struggle with these descriptions of myself so please excuse the lack of interesting/funny content !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love travelling and think the best part is meeting new people :) I have recently been able to host people as I now have enough space for a couch (woho!), which has been great as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I play the fiddle/violin, mostly Swedish folk, but like playing with others and learning new genres. I like to listen to all sorts of music but keep coming back to 1960s-70s... I also love when politics and music meet - if you can show me some songs around this, protest songs etc, I am forever grateful

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved in with my grandma after she had an accident during the pandemic. It was the most amazing experience to get to know her better and we had the best time out in the countryside of Sweden. She taught me so much about traditional Swedish cooking and I managed to revive her old garden and grew lots of vegetables. And made 30 litres of wine from the berries and apples in the garden! It was great
