Overview
About Me
I run a non profit where we teach kids from slums of India, I write jokes and stories for a living, and I research in education.
I change my profession after every couple of years to challenge myself and learn something new.
I have done 500 + shows which include standup comedy, poetry, storytelling, theatre etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Host people and exchange stories. Get hosted and exchange more stories. We are a work in progress and I believe in learning from people. Different cultures provide a varied perspective to understand myself and the world in a better way.

Movies- from The Salesman (Iran) to Departures (Japanese), I love exploring world cinema. I even write satire reviews of Bollywood movies.
Books- A Man called Ove, 1984, Sapiens, Factfulness, 40 Rules of Love, Ghost Train to the Eastern Star
Music- Sufi, Indie or Jazz (not that I understand it much)
Series- From Peaky Blinders to Fauda, from The Newsroom to Mindhunters, and from Modern Family to Brooklyn 99, my TV time app tells me I have watched 200+ series already.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Okay. Extremely narcissist section
1. Led a scrap collection drive with 45 volunteers over a weekend and raised funds for education of 30 children from slums of India
2. Performed standup comedy in an auditorium with 1200 people
