About Me

If you've fully read my profile, I'll know 😊

My goal? Lifelong friends, tasty ethnic foods, and embracing diverse cultures.

I’ve been living abroad since 2022, and lived in Berlin 🇩🇪, Krakow 🇵🇱, 🇮🇹 (all over), Amsterdam 🇳🇱, London 🇬🇧, Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Split/Zagreb 🇭🇷, and now in Istanbul 🇹🇷 prepping to explore Asia/Middle East/Africa.

I intend to keep living abroad, stretching my cultural horizons, and make that my life.

If you like me, you’ll love my friends. They are some of the most incredible people (I feel).

My BSc is in community health and psychology. I enjoy being autodidactic through podcasts, YouTube, and reading while traveling.

Thank you in advanced to all my future travel supporters ❤️

Excited to meet locals and explore the area, but also need to work online and plan.

Happy to merge plans with fellow surfers and make new friends!

Let's communicate to avoid misunderstandings.

🚩 I enjoy being on my own and sometimes joining you with my to-do list. I am not a big talker, and I prefer not to be touched without permission. I use Couchsurfing for meeting people, not dating or hookups. Please message me 'green' if you've read this.

🚩 Communicate honestly and respectfully with me.
Tell me how you feel (when you feel it) so we both solve things together and end with a positive reference to say about one another :)

It’s most appreciated when hosts have links, resources, and knowledge about the city.
____________________________________________________________

Before I discovered couchsurfing, my family had always been open to hosting people from abroad.
In my childhood we hosted 4 French exchange students who lived with us in the USA during their studies.

I didn’t really try to use this app until solo traveling through Europe and wanting to meet people. Before that I was working 6-7 days a week in healthcare during the pandemic (so I didn’t host).
When I have a home to host in again…I will.

At this point I’ve sacrificed all of my material wealth in order to live out of a backpack and focus on life experience wealth and relationship wealth. I don’t have a home to host in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel and connect with locals :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This adventure I am currently on…

Teach, Learn, Share

Those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. A dose of my curiosity

2. My amateur cooking skills.

3. My amateur yoga lessons

4. Companionship to your pet(s)

5. If you can play music/karaoke we can sing Disney songs. 🤡

My couchsurfing Philosophy:

I consider myself a respectful guest who is experienced in Couchsurfing/hostelling/Airbnb/camping/hotels/ ect.

I’ve worked in real estate so I’ve experienced the hosts perspective of dealing with people.

To me, a respectful guest treats their host with dignity, communicates their plans clearly with the host (should technology permit). They treat the hosts home like a museum, looking but not touching (unless signs permit otherwise).

To me, a respectful host treats their guest with dignity, acts out of consideration of the busy travelers schedule & traveling complications, and communicates clearly, and treats their guests property with courtesy - asking before touching.

If your view of a respectful guest or respectful host differs from the above message me the word purple and let’s communicate to find a pleasant middle ground prior to our agreed stay.
