I'm Ukrainian, but for 6 years I studied in Taiwan, then spent 3 years doing PhD in Germany, and now I live in Italy... So I'm from all over the place :)

I can be quite a different person depending on when and how you meet me: I study Physics but I love etymology and can talk about languages for hours; I like small shindigs with cooking and board games, but sometimes I get restless, go to parties and dance 4 hours in a row; I'm extremely talkative and sociable, but sometimes I'd hop on my bicycle and get away for a day or sit at home for a week and just read and play guitar...

I don't list a country in "Countries I've visited" below if I've only been to one city there, so apart from those listed I've been to Prague, Krakow, Xiamen, Barcelona and Porto :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

The reason i registered: I love cycling and my dream was to do 環島 (go around Taiwan on my bike...), so I registered on CS having an idea that I'd find a host or at least meet someone who lives there in every city i visit.

The reason I'm here now: Since then I've met many very interesting people on CS who motivated me to do a lot of cool stuff, hosts as well as surfers. It's mind-blowing! It's amazing to meet many people from all over the world, to be overwhelmed by just how many people there are on our planet and with how many you can nevertheless connect and share.
