ABOUT ME

I've been a working stand-up comedian for over 30 years, starting at The Comedy Store in Hollywood, traveling all over North America and then finally landing in the UK, where I settled and stayed for 20 years. Over there, I created and produce a huge comedy charity show at The London Palladium for a drug and alcohol charity launched by Princess Diana. "High On Laughter" was filmed and broadcast in the UK and featured some of the most famous comedians on both sides of the pond. Now I'm back in America and loving it.

I perform stand-up comedy and story-telling. I write a weekly blog about live comedy for The Jewish Journal online. Enjoy the Veal includes political skewing and personal travelogue. I write about everyone I meet (unless they don't want me to!) Here's a good example and this week's Enjoy the Veal:

I started a foundation to help comedians with Health Care and to start a Comedy Museum. We've already saved one single-mom comedian from eviction and helped another with cancer meds. I'm also a good cook, clean and organized and very much concerned with social issues which affect us all. I play acoustic guitar and sing original and other songs. Plus, I'm funny.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a film and we are the central character. I believe that everything in life happens for a reason; its our job to figure out what that reason is. Otherwise, we're just a buncha molecules.

If more people did what they were good at, there'd be more people good at what they do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch-surfed with London dentists, Hollywood filmmakers and good ole regular folks across the Pacific Northwest. I always learn something, meet someone interesting and hopefully leave them laughing!
