I have an eclectic taste when it comes to music—I can enjoy anything from indie and jazz to techno and classic rock, depending on the mood or setting. I love discovering local music when I travel; it’s such a great way to connect with a culture.

I’m a big fan of movies that make you think or feel deeply—anything from thought-provoking dramas to heartwarming comedies. Some favorites include Pearl Harbour, Blood Diamond, Prisoners. I also enjoy the occasional documentary or foreign film.

As for books, I enjoy a good mix of fiction and nonfiction. A few favourites are The book thief, The Kite Runner, I too had a love story.

One amazing thing I’ve done was moving abroad to Italy as a student. Leaving my home country and diving into a new culture was both exciting and challenging.
