Overview
About Me
Hello fellow CSers from all over the world! My name is Simon. At the age of 12, I moved to Vancouver with my family and I have been living in this beautiful city since. Growing up in a multicultural city like Vancouver has turned me into a food addict because I am so lucky to be spoiled by feeding myself with all the unique types of cuisine from diverse cultures.
Well..aside from being a food addict, I am also very interested in exploring all the fascinating things in our world. I truly believe the old saying "The more we learn, the more we realize how little we know." Therefore, my personal motto is "Stay humble, it is the only way to keep growing!" I am looking forward to learn as much as I possibly can from all of the lovely friends I will cross fate with!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling to Europe has always been on my bucket list and now I finally have the chance to realize that dream! I think that there is no better way to connect and meet new friends than through couch surfing. The only regret I have is that I should have discovered this amazing platform long time ago..but it's never too late to start right?!
Interests
Anything that sparks my soul!
Having said that, I enjoy doing a variety of sports like snowboarding, scuba diving, biking, swimming, golfing. I also enjoy lots of reading (self help, philosophy, transhumanism etc.)
I spend most of my free time in community volunteering. It is another great way to meet new people and gain valuable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Léon The Professional is my favorite movie. Partly because it was the first English movie I saw and the ending song still touches me every time I listen to it.
As for music, I listen to Pop/Classical/Jazz/Flamenco/Instrumental and I am always open to suggestions!
