About Me

I am well traveled, love life and making new and lasting connections around the world. I am down to earth and easy to talk to. I am a happy person and enjoy living in Toronto. My true passion is to just travel the world and learn. I am an encyclopedia of information ready to share. I have intrepidly traveled through Europe, SE Asian, India, Central and South America, South Africa and recently completed a portion of the El Camino in Spain ending in Santiago de Compostela. Magic lives in the quiet exploration of an adventure through the gratitude of it, whatever and wherever it may be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am sure you agree, it's not always easy to meet locals when travelling, and sometimes you just want to meet a cool local to share a friendly conversation maybe over a coffee, a walk or show you around; and learn about their culture. I love meeting travelers and building long lasting friendships around the world and often visit them as I pass through their country. So if you are new to Toronto and want to meet for a coffee, a good conversation or a walk, connect with me. And when I travel, I look for the same.

Please note I am not using CS to date, but to meet like minded travelers and join CS events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: A Fine Balance by Rohinton Misty
Movie: The Shawshank Redemption
Music: 80's and House

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the El Camino (July 2016) in Spain alone with an injured knee, not being able to bend it for days. There were moments I couldn't walk or even move and in so much pain without a human in sight to ask for help, but I refused to give up. I enjoyed walking alone (24-27km/day) through deep forests and secluded country sides not seeing a human for hours. Buen Camino.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to do an oil change on your car; fix your toilet or washing machine; dry wall, patch holes in walls as if there never was a hole; tile, grout and fix other things around the house.
