Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a (pretty broke) student who wants to see the world and its different cultures and people(s) and what better way to do so (for free) than couchsurfing?
plus, I'd really like to meet someone who'd be willing to take some of those cool travel photos of me for instagram since I'm getting really sick of constantly having to take selfies, which you basically can't get around as a solo traveller (I'm actually (semi-)serious here)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

surviving an extremely cold and windy March night on Mt. Zas, the highest point on all the Cycladic Islands, with no tent or any knowledge on hiking or camping whatsoever and just one sleeping bag and a blanket a girl from my hostel and (by that time) complete stranger and I had "borrowed" from our room to share between the two of us

maybe some German? oh and my advice on travelling and fully immerging yourself into the place you're visiting and its culture: get lost; just start wandering and I promise you'll discover beautiful wonders on your way to nowhere.
