ABOUT ME

I'm actually currently living in New Zealand (Hamilton, in the Waikato region), teaching at Waikato University. I've been there quite a while, but it's looking like it's time to move back to the USA (family issues are pulling me back). I'm married to a great South Louisiana guy, Randy, whose name causes gales of laughter in New Zealand!

I almost hate to mention that I'm in Computer Science. I swear, it's interesting! I'm not too big a geek.

Interests

Reading--my guilty pleasure is mystery novels. I have two cats, but promise not to bore by talking about them. Well, ok, I'll only tell one or two stories. They're pretty cute. My husband Randy is keen on cooking, but since he's from the swamp country he only cooks in vast quantities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done quite a bit of travelling since moving to New Zealand--everywhere is a long long way from there! This past year I've been to Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Singapore, Raratonga, and Niue. Niue is definitely the oddest place (only 1100 people in the whole country!), and I loved it.
