ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as open minded person that is always up for new experiences. So far I spend my time cruising around Europe as much as I can. I am particularly interested in Russia as I speak the language and I find former USSR a fascinating place.
I live in Riga at the moment. I have two cats (but I'm not crazy) - Maloy and Bella. I have the crappiest phone in the world (you will see) because all the good ones got stolen.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live today and not think about tomorrow that much. I believe in fairy tales and laughter (wait until you hear mine).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I only just started but I believe that I could get into this and participate with my couch and interesting conversations with people that stay at my place. Parties is what I do best. You never know what will happen with you at my party...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a couple of very nice people. Alex who surfed my couch for a few days is amazing - he cooked for me, we danced, watched movies and went to the party together.

I met a very nice couple in Amsterdam - we went for a movie together. It was fun!

So far only very nice people/nice experience.

I am interested in photography (millions of moments, people and views to capture surround me every day), music, painting (Russian constructivism), writing (I write quite skeptical essays about everyday life) , dancing (contemporary dance), cycling (I have old school Peugeot bicycle that serves me very well) and cats (you already heard about them).

This is my addiction.
From music lately I listen to Rammstein because I went to see them life not long ago and their music still pulsate through my veins.
Also I love Gogol Bordello (everything gypsy and everything punk), Madrugada, Alice in Chains, Prodigy, System Of A Down, Tool, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Muse, Death From Above 1979, Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Venetian Snares........
Films... Inglorious Basterds, Fight Club, American History X, American Beauty and many more.
Book the tiniest ever - Kafka's Metamorphosis. Also I love Dostoyevsky, Bulgakov, Hesse. Books and movies about Hannibal Lecter.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing is that I was in the right places in the right times to meet all my friends that are very important to me.
And...
I once hitchhiked through Europe from Riga to Paris. It was amazing. My one and so far only experience. Unforgettable! People that I met during the trip were the nicest and most helpful. I hope that each of us will experience similar trip at least once.
