Hi! :) My name is Sakura, originally from Fukuoka city, Japan.

I've grown up mainly in Japan, but I lived in Sydney for 3 years , and recently I studied in Sweden for a year. Now I'm back in Japan finishing my medical degree.

I love to draw, I do illustration for some local projects and my dream is to make picture books. I love getting inspiration from nature, museums, films and little book stores.

I also have a passion in cooking and food culture.
So experiencing good local food is a big part of my travels.

Other than that, I love being in nature, camping or hiking, enjoy music and films.

I'm new to this community but I'm looking forward to making friends around the world and would love to host travelers when I can :)

I enjoy meeting the locals whenever I travel and also hosting travelers at home. Coming from a little island country, I'm very curious of different cultures and simply love meeting people from around the world.
