ABOUT ME

I am an American undergraduate whose list of travel ambitions is deep enough to circumnavigate the globe even if my pocketbook isn't. I am driven to travel by the constant thrill of arriving in a completely new place where not a soul knows your name, and leaving with a sweet ache for a new home. In addition to traveling, I enjoy pretending to be a writer and dreaming of the day when I can replace "pretending to be" with just "being." No matter where life takes me, I am never surprised to find the generosity and depth of the human spirit alive and well in remarkable ways.

**My current journey: studying Arabic and enjoying the outstanding hospitality of Jordanian culture, with frequent side adventures around the Middle East.

Right now, I'm a surfer, but as soon as I have a permanent address, my door will be open to the CS community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new here, but the CS community has already empowered my adventures, most recently to the West Bank of Palestine.
