ABOUT ME

I live in Brooklyn, NY where I study theatre and dance. I am endeavoring to learn French. I am infatuated with swing dancing. I enjoy taking up the entire bed but will always make room to share. I like walking and stumbling upon beautiful occurrences in life... the crunching of leaves under my feet, dewdrops sitting upon petals, post renaissance architecture, romantic glances. I am passionate about creating art, painting clouds, inventing smoothie receipes and listening to live music. I've moved around the USA quite a bit in the last 26 years and I think it's one of the best things to have happened to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it, love the awkward pauses, follow the sweet smells, "I won't die wondering", we have two ears and one mouth for a reason, I believe in love and humanity, to have compassion and work hard at the things you want, sing loud!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fairly new to surfing officially on this site, but love to meet new perspectives in the places I visit. I haven't hosted yet, as I have recently moved to New York City. I am looking forward to it.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books can take your mind to places where your heart can learn, your vocabulary can grow and your perspective can be expanded. I love books and reading.
I am an actor so movies are tough. I usually analyze the acting, but any movie that can consume me, feeling wonder, grieving for loss, hoping for a return... I'm terribly romantic for that.
Music is my soul. The stories, the melodies, the raw sound, I love music. A lot of folk, jazz, gypsy jazz, acoustic, indie stuff, classical... music that makes want to dance!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef was really incredible. We would jump in the water before sunrise and dive for forty-five minutes or so, and as we came up to make breakfast, the first whispers of light would kiss us from the horizon. The warm rays, the soft light reaching for miles and miles and the day would begin.

I believe in people. I do not see age, I see an individual for their spirit, enthusiasm, passion, their story in their eyes, in their hands. I study people as a part of my craft. I believe in dance and theater as mediums to articulate beauty in physical form. My aim is to breathe life into a text, a moment, and sustain it with presence, with vulnerability and honesty. My personal journey is to gain new perspectives, insight, discover my fullness and live to learn from it.
