ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Brisbane in sunny Queensland. First travelling experience at age 15 was a part school trip part solo adventure through LA, Seattle and Vancouver. Scared the willies out of me travelling solo in a different country at that age, but that crazy experience gave me the thirst for travel I have today.

I love adventures, espeically if they're spontaneous and slightly dangerous. I love to laugh, and if the situation calls for it I guess being laughed at aint to bad either. I love partying but want to learn, would rather have a few drinks with locals or my mates at the beach or pub than get wasted in a club every night.

I think cultural exchange is a fantastic way to learn about the world, and often yourself as well. I love to challenge the norm, create new pathways and do things which my mum tells me not to.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take youself to seriously, laughter is an amazing quality of the human soul that not enough endulge in.

Surfed in Montreal and New York, was an amazing experience - one I can't wait to have agaiN!

Interests

Pretty much anything that isn't brussel sprouts, sunburn or being underpaid + overworked. Interesting people interest me. Rock climbing, hiking, the beach, campfire drinking, dancing really terribly, scaring myself, scaring other people, the list goes on and on...you`ll see when you meet me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies = Crash, Zeitgeist, Anchorman.
Music - Variety, depends on my mood, situation + location. I like to make up songs in the shower or when I am driving long distances. Not sure if that can be called music though.
Books - Salem Falls, Don't tell Mum I work on the Oil Rigs, The Qur`an.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Self guided caving mission in Southern New Zealand was a day I will never forget. Swimming with manta rays in fiji, and underwater caving in fiji. Skydiving. Watching the sunset over the pacific ocean while sipping a rum on Moreton Island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to think I have something to teach other CSers, but it would be more inadvertent rather than specific skills / knowledge. I want to learn about how other people view the world and make their way through life. I want to learn all that I can. I have a few good stories to share, and some vegemite if your not to afraid...
