well.....i've been in the UK for five years now which feels quite odd...perhaps ready for a change of country....maybe South America....i have finally got out of a 9-5 and am enjoying having some time on my hands for study, baking and knitting.....i have a gorgeous cat called Molly....

hopefully by giving and receiving a couch or two....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

...over the years, i have taken advantage of available couches in Munich, Heidelberg, Quito, Sao Paulo, Uruburetama.....and have repaid the favour to many friends here in Manchester...
i found myself in Uruburetama after i got talking to a fellow on a 48 bus journey north from Sao Paulo....he invited me to go and stay with him, his wife, and their grandchildren in this lovely town in the middle of nowhere....

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

my most amazing journey was in the back of an open jeep from Bangkok to Angkor Wat.....such fantastic scenery, gorgeous sunshine....then the heavens opened, the jeep got beached and all passengers had to get out into the mud and push...i enjoyed every minute of it!
