Overview
About Me
I am a relaxed person with considerable international experience. I am a finance professional and currently pursuing a PhD degree. I love reading, writing, poetry and overall I love exploring new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new friends and experience new cultures firsthand! When I visit a city I prefer to act like the locals.
Interests
Music, art (any kind really), economics, creative writing, physchology, topics on social inequalities, conspiracy theories, and of course gourmet food.
Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list here in terms of music but to name a few I enjoy listening to Coldplay, Emma Shaplin and classics. Novadays, I am listening to Zaz a lot, but I like to listen any kind of music without prejudice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked at a research and rescue squad during the 98 earthquake in Turkey. Our efforts saved many lives from the bottoms of collapsed buildings (roughly 20000 people died and 50000 people got injured).
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach Turkish, English, oriental cooking and economics/finance related topics also I love to write. Additionally, I can share my experiences from my trips to other countries.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a good listener and I like to hold a good conversation. I believe I am a good cook on my own right. Besides, I believe I have very good connections in many parts of the world and I'd be more than happy to share.
