Über mich

CURRENT MISSION

To make art and find a fun job

ABOUT ME

i was raised sufi, my parents converted to islam in the 60's. i grew up with a deep sense of the mystic life. I studied biological anthropology at school because i wanted to learn how humans tell the story of the past and all of the diverse theories to explain how we got here. i love animals and folk art. i like watching nature shows on big screens, designing clothes, making my own things, playing mandolin, painting and making bags, wallets and stuffed beast and creatures for my sidewalk shop called "Lion of the Sea". Inspired by a trip to cape cod when i saw 24 whales. Also aspiring Naturopath.

PHILOSOPHY

alchemy.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

The reenchantment of the world is by far the most amazing book ive ever read and reread. and will reread again. one hundred years of solitude, joanna newsome, animal collective, sybille baire holy mountain, friends, gentle giant, philp glass etc etc ... weird animation, night on earth, baraka, etc er etc

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

i saw the kaabah in mecca. it looked like a hologram. probably because millions of humans direct so much mental energy to that one spot.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

i've been sewing a lot and its fun to show people who are intimated by the machine how easy it can be. im nostalgic
for the days when every material thing was handmade and people took their time to make things really special. i saw an old 17th century atlas at the antique road show and it was exquisite.
there are lots of things i want to learn. maybe how to sail or how to build really beautiful living spaces like tree homes and domes and living roofs. . also it would be nice to finally become fluent in spanish. or learn a bit of mandarin. all about plants and animals. how to sew really well.
