我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Traveling is a therapy for me. It gives me a break from the daily corporate grind.
To truly experience a new destination or a culture and make your travel a wholesome experience, one has to be with the local people and become one of them. For the very same reason i am on Couch surfing.

Went for a solo 5 days trek to Har Ki Dun
Har Ki Dun is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Himalayas. The trail through alpine meadows, glacier basins, pine forests and ancient villages gives you spectacular views and a chance to experience an intriguing slow paced local lifestyle.

I have lived in different parts of India with diverse cultures. I have done a few famous treks in Himalayas. I have volunteered with a non profitable organization involved in teaching kids from underprivileged background. I have worked as a trader with a financial institution.
I would happily share my above experiences with the hosts.
