Overview
About Me
I’m Salim, a Colombian petroleum engineer and a traveler who loves meaningful experiences. I’m openly gay and enjoy queer-friendly plans like parties, bars, cultural events, or anything with good vibes and diversity. I also appreciate calm spaces, deep conversations, and spontaneous moments. Couchsurfing, for me, is a way to connect with real people beyond typical tourism and share stories that leave a mark.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live in a two-bedroom apartment and have a spare room available for hosting. I’m offering it simply to meet new people. However, I have a busy schedule, so while you’re free to use all common areas, I won’t be able to cook for you, entertain you, or spend much time with you. That said, if my schedule allows, I’d be happy to accompany you to some places.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share insights about energy exploration, Latin American culture, and Colombian slang. I also enjoy helping people practice Spanish or understand more about life in Colombia.
Learn: I’m always curious to learn about local traditions, everyday life in different countries, and personal stories. I’m especially interested in LGBTQ+ culture around the world.
Share: I’m happy to share travel stories, playlists, meals, and a good laugh. Whether it’s a night out or a chill evening at home, I’m all about creating real, respectful connections.
