Well, I'm 26 years old and about a year and a half ago I got sick of working 90 hours a week so I quit my job and headed to South America :D The trip was meant to be 3-4 months but here I am still at it 15 months later! I'm sure many of you understand how addictive this lifestyle is, and why I've not been able to make myself go home just yet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet locals, practice Spanish, and learn about cultures different from my own. Meeting new and different people is my absolute favorite part about traveling!

Interests

I love to go out and dance to everything, but especially salsa and bachata! Getting carried away dancing to an amazing song, playing in a great futbol match, or racing up the side of a mountain are the things that excite me most in life. I live for adventure and thrills, although am always game to read a book or watch a movie with some wine as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into all types of music from dancehall to bluegrass, but special love for the Latin stuff these days while I work on my Spanish! Love all movies except for the scary ones and currently going through a murder-mystery phase in the books department.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a night recently on top of a volcano drinking hot chocolate beside the fire, watching a nearby volcano erupt every 15 minutes all night :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Latin dance to even the most 2 left foot-ed dancers ;) and have experience teaching English to all ages! I love to share my travel stories and hear others'.
