About Me

Hi!

My name is Sally, I'm 20 and I'm currently living in the North of France, in Valenciennes. I am both student and "worker", as I'm in my first year of Law and Languages, and now working for an European company of calling centers too in order to pay my studies.

I'm someone very bubbly, fun and sociable. I love laughing and to share meaningful moments with people as much as deeper conversations about almost every subjects. Open-minded and curious with a big hunger for learning, I love meeting new people with new cultures.

As an aries (yes, I really like astrology too), I'm a strong-willed, quick-witted and generous woman; in relationships, I appreciate warmth as much as I love to spread it around me. Passionate, there is no middle ground with me when it comes to kind of everything I love.

3 years ago, I still practiced sport (rhythmic gymnastics) and traveled to Finland with the French team for the Gymnaestrada, which is the second biggest world event after the summer Olympic Games but yet not a competition at all. I enjoyed the peace and friendliness that were surrounding all the 25000 participants all the week long. This experience clearly marked me for the rest of my life; the memories related to this travel won't ever leave me.

Younger, I was a classic musician too; I sang in a choral, played the viola in my city's orchestra and tried a little bit of piano. I stopped my conservatory studies to focus on my academic studies but I hope one day I'm able to restart the viola study.

Later, I'd like to become a lawyer, then maybe specialize in business law and find a new reason to travel..!

Otherwise, I live in colocation with 2 other young persons and my cat whose name is Idylle (meaning "idyll", a kind of really paradisiac state or love). We own a lot of plants and flowers; our apartment is very large, sunny and colorful.

I have a boyfriend, Jeremy, and I'd love to travel a lot with him. Let's start today!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for nice places to stay when I am traveling. Being a student, my budget isn't very large and my bank ain't my best friend neither. Plus, as enjoy meeting new people, sharing life stories and discovering new cultures, I believe Couchsurfing is made for me.
