I'm an avid plant lover; a friendly, goofy character with a boisterously loud laugh. I can be a little shy at first, but usually warm up quickly.
Hobbies include reading, journaling, crafting soap, herbal medicine making, and dabbling in beaded jewelry. I love animals and have some background in caring for livestock. Cats are certainly my favorite, dogs a very close second, and goats are just adorable.
I've worked on organic farms in Environmental Education and a bit of actual farm labor. I love working in the service industry and enjoy connecting with people over food and drink. I'm looking to guide my future career toward health education.
I love campfires, cooking, a good beer after a long day, and I'm (slowly) teaching myself how to play the ukulele.

I have traveled a lot in the states, but want to expand outward toward new destinations! My plan is to road trip from Washington state to my home state of Michigan thru the Southwest, Texas, Louisiana and up the Mississippi River. Then I wanna jump the pond over to Europe for some grand adventures with WOOFING.

I'd like to meet people along the way. I love making friends, and I very much enjoy seeing how people live their lives. I've been intrigued by Couchsurfing for a long time, and think this big trip I have planned is the perfect opportunity to see what it's all about!

I can listen to most types of music, although I must be in the right mood for certain genres. I tend to gravitate toward classic rock and rap/hip hop.

I am a sucker for a good Rom Com, love a Sci-Fi thriller. Some favorites: Harold and Maude, Benny and June, To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, and Titanic.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I attended the Northern California Women's Healing Symposium in 2013 and it was an incredible experience. We sang, drummed, ate, worked, crafted, alongside each other to form a beautiful community and I felt so free and beautiful and safe in that environment. I would love to attend again. I think any platform that allows people to genuinely connect with one another is a worthwhile endeavor and more opportunities for such can't come around often enough.
