CURRENT MISSION

A 58 year old retired local government worker who had a mission through my work of stopping kids taking up smoking. I have now retired and when I am not caring for my aged mother would like to doing as much travelling as I can manage, visiting as many climbing locations as I can.

ABOUT ME

A very active 58 year old. I have loved climbing for many years and have spent many trips climbing both in Britain and Europe. I would like to visit some of the more far flung places and greater ranges. I have recently become obsessed (though not good at)running. I love to travel cheaply, camping or in my van so am keen on being able to visit other countries without having to visit hotels and impersonal places which dont provide a true experience of the city or country.

Be healthy, keep fit, try hard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far although when I was young I did hitch across America and Canada and was often offered ad hoc hospitality. Would like to reciprocate in a more formalised way.
