One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in Ukraine,
and i was in a bus stop with a friend of mine,
we were speaking a little russian ( I am not fluent)
and there was this old man that was looking at me as if he had seen a ghost.
so I just stop talking!
out of nowhere he opens his wallet and offers me money to keep talking,
he was 73 years old, and his whole life
he has never seen a black person speak russian
this was the highlight of my trip!
and yes, i took the money and counted to 10 in russian :D
