ABOUT ME

I have just quit my job working for Nickelodeon in New York and am a few months into a year-long journey to travel and volunteer around the world. I am excited for new experiences and to make some new friends along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and get a different experience outside of hostels while I travel.

Interests

I love the arts, both as a consumer and very amateur performer. I've dabbled in piano and guitar, and have been learning aerial arts on and off over the years. As much as I love to practice these skills, even more so, I enjoy going to concerts, listening to live music, and watching both compelling and trash film and TV. Health and fitness are also a huge part of my lifestyle, so I enjoy hiking when I can and going to the gym regularly.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I could listen to anything, but I love alternative rock. Some favorites are The Black Keys and Care the Elephant. For film and TV, psychological thrillers are my favorite--Memento, Se7en, Black Mirror, to name a few. The Count of Monte Cristo and Pride & Prejudice are some of my favorite books though it's been quite a while since their last read.

Driving scooters across South East Asia and trying my best not to crash, with moderate success.
