Moving to Istanbul
Growing up and living in several different parts of the world, turned me into an open-minded person. I am very curious about other cultures. This characteristic made me choose the profession I have nowadays. I work as a development worker in third world countries, mainly on health and gender projects. My friends describe as an adventurous person, and they are always wondering what my next plan is going to be. Other descriptions that would fit me: kind and polite, family person, young hearted and sometimes a bit chaotic. Beside all the things connected to my job, like travelling and different cultures, I also like to read, dance go out, do yoga, and have fun in life!
The way you respond to the world, it will respond back to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosted by several people... and it was an amazing experience. In Amsterdam I have hosted many people, since it is a very busy backpacker place. I would love to host people in PNG, but there are not so many travellers around. So if you are passing by, feel free to drop a line..
yoga, traveling, different cultures, documentaries, reading, , philosophy, surfing, nature, my friends and family... but I think my biggets interest is in life in general.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Almost anything I can get my hands on, however i have a special thing going on for fantasy/science fiction stories at the moment! However social/political or history books are also always welcome.
Movies: I donât have a television since 11 years, and loving it. Sometimes I watch movies on my laptop, and I have slight preference for documentaries or more cult movies.
Music: Angus and Julia Stone, Brett Dennen, Lisa Hannigan, Abakus, Anouar Brahem, Ayub Ogada, Gnawa Diffusion, Goma, Morcheeba, Bob Dylan, Nitin Sawhney, Solar Quest, Bens Harper, mantras by Nina Hagen, The cure.......
