ABOUT ME

Usually I'm your average uni student, I study psychology, an area that fascinates me. For the next few months however, I've taken a couple of months off to sort out a few affairs, and travel!
The first time I got on a plane, I was 6 months old. See, I'm Australian born to Egyptian parents. My parents grew up in Egypt, Cairo, and I've been back almost once a year every one of my 20 years. Exploring that incredible country every time I went as I got older opened my eyes to the greatness of the world, and showed me how there's so much more than the little bubble we live in, and it's amazing! I'm keen to continue my adventures and see where this will take me (:
I'm fairly involved in the community, and in I volunteer quite a bit,. I'm the kind of person who wears tshirts and wristbands saying things like Make Poverty History, and I'm involved in running these awesome events at home called Big Help Mob. They keep me sane.

I heard about CS last year, and when I decided to travel this year, I thought awesome why not? What better way to meet new people and learn about the places and cultures from locals! I'm psyched!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zilch so far. I've met a few surfers who really recommended it though.
