About Me

Hi, I’m Salman—a supply chain professional from Karachi, Pakistan, working with an international plastic color manufacturing company. I’ve built my career in supply chain and procurement, but beyond my professional life, I’m someone who finds true joy in connecting with people, sharing stories, and learning from different cultures.

I’m often described as friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. Whether it’s offering travel tips, sharing a meal, or simply having a good conversation, I genuinely enjoy making others feel welcome and at ease. I believe that kindness, respect, and a good sense of humor go a long way in building meaningful connections.

I’m fascinated by the diversity of the world—its people, languages, traditions, and ways of life. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places or engaging in thoughtful conversations with people from different backgrounds. My face tends to give away every emotion, and more often than not, you’ll find me smiling or laughing—because I truly believe that smiles are universal and always free.

Raised in a culture where hospitality is a way of life, I carry those values with me wherever I go. Whether I’m hosting or traveling, I aim to be respectful, curious, and open-hearted.

I find joy in every new connection. I believe life is richer when shared, and Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to do just that.

My Couchsurfing Philosophy
I believe the world becomes more beautiful when we open our hearts and homes to one another. Couchsurfing is a chance to connect beyond borders—to share stories, laughter, and a little piece of our cultures. Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I cherish the opportunity to meet kind souls, exchange ideas, and create memories that last far beyond the journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, to me, is a beautiful way to experience the world—not just through places, but through people. I believe that every journey becomes more meaningful when it’s shared with others, and this platform offers a unique opportunity to connect across cultures, exchange ideas, and build friendships that transcend borders.

While I truly enjoy welcoming travelers to Pakistan and sharing the warmth and hospitality of my culture, I also look forward to exploring the world myself. I hope to meet kind-hearted hosts who are open to sharing their corner of the world, their stories, and perhaps a few laughs along the way.

Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I see Couchsurfing as a chance to grow, to listen, and to celebrate the diversity that makes our world so rich and inspiring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a nature lover. I love Plantation - Green...Green & Green.
Where so ever I have lived so far.. I have planted number of plants in my surrounding.

One biggest sense of achievement I feel ..... I planted 550 FIG Plants in remote area of Quetta-Pakistan in 2017, where I went for a Logistic project of 2 years.
It was not an easy project .... but my passion drove me to complete it..
I researched which tree will be feasible in that area, then I arrange the small plants and labour
The biggest challenge was maintaining & watering the new samplings..... But managed
Now its gives me an eternal happiness to see its growing as mature trees with Fig fruits..
