ABOUT ME

Introduce yourself to the community.I grow up in my native city : Colmar , in Alsace , very close with Germany. I studied psychology , and I work as a psychologist for 30 years , mainly about children with social and family disorders. I traveled a lot in the former time backpacking( East Europe , Brasil- during 7 months -, India, Middle East -Iran , around mediteraneen sea ) , alone , with a friend , with my wife , and at least with my teenagers children .

I try to enjoye with life , and to have benefit with all
it can offer ; I try to find the right distance in my connection with people

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the idea of the project . I began hosted 2 young american girls in december 2011 ; il was very friendly . since that , I host in my home from time to time . I am open to help as I can , when I am available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted for the first time with my daughter this past eastern 2012 in CA , in San Franc and in L.A. ; that was a great souvenir ; I enjoy to host people in my home, to know and to have fun with them and to give them a small help

Interests

I like dancing (tango and salsa ), listening music and reading news about social events , visiting places of different kind of art when travelling ,going to cinema,concert , theatre and museum , meeting people and sharing pleasant moments with them , practicing my job ( psychologist ),recycling and repairing bicycles and sell them . We 'R a very bike friendly family .

the last movie I saw impressed me totaly : "detachment", from Tony Kaye(USA-2012), screened in NYC suburbs : a great movie , you definitely must watch ... but not if you R depressed !...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Share a story of something that really struck you.Trekking to Macchu Picchu and attending to Rio carnival in 80'visiting Rajasthan with my wife, Beijing, Shangai and H Kong, Ousbekistan in winter... so cold!....and so fascinating arabic vestiges....
