I have travelled a lot as a backpacker in the past, and had some interesting experiences..... now my traveling is more music/gig-related so I never know where I'm going to go next. I play folk music, on fiddle and banjo, and I'm also a storyteller.

It would be great to have someone to introduce me to the culture of the towns I visit. I also enjoy nature and walking, discovering new things, new musical sounds, new languages.

I love food, and I love discovering new local foods. I enjoy discussing chocolate brownie recipes, local organic vegetables, and so on. I also love tea. And cake. Preferably at the same time!

I seek out beauty in my life wherever I can - beautiful music, poetry, landscapes, meals..... I also care deeply about social and environmental justice.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Stayed the night with Tibetan yak herders in their tent on the slopes of the Himalayas. Got food poisoning whilst there, and spent the night throwing up among the huge dark shapes of the yaks, moving against the most incredible starry sky!
