I'm 23y old, mixed german-peruvian. In september 2022 I will be moving to San Diego, CA, to start my PhD at UCSD on climate science/change and machine learning.
I first grew up in Peru for my first 11years and then moved to Germany, which has been my official home since then.

Inofficially however, I have been nomading quite a bit after high school, with a strong preference for longer stays. This slowmading started when I volunteered for 1y in a kindergarten in southern Goa, India. Afterwards, when Covid hit -- my lectures got virtual, my internships became remote only -- I decided to make the best out of it and was able to spend 3mon in Madeira (Portugal), 6mon in Medellin, with some travelling around Colombia during that time, 4mon in Lima (Peru) and 4mon in Montreal (Canada). In all places I picked up various new hobbies such as plant-based eating and cooking from Goa, Salsa (although I'm still a noob!) and yage from Colombia, surfing and afro-peruvian dancing from Lima, climbing and rockabily dancing from Montreal, etc.!

My music taste is quite broad, which means that you will find in my playlist songs ranging from different latin music to house as well as pop, rock, indie, sleepy piano, chill-out music, songs in many different languages (love African and portuguese songs!)... I used to read a lot, but currently I don't really get to it as much as I would prefer, similarly with movies
