I am Italian, 28 years old currently living in Lisbon. I like very much travelling and keeping in contact with people.
I already experienced Couchsurfing as a guest and as a host and I always met interesting people and shared really good moments together.

A little bit about me : In 2012 I took a degree in foreign languages and literatures in Milan (the city where I grew up) . I choose this course because I have always been fascinated by other cultures .
Except from Italy, I lived in Russia (Saint Petersburg) , where I used to teach Italian and since December 2016 I've been living in Lisbon, where I work for a company.

I consider myself an open-minded person with lot of interests for art in general and I like to think that each one of us can express himself/herself with the creativity process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it allows you to make a lot of new friends all over the world. You can also visit the places from the local point of view and this represents for me the most important aspect. Visiting a place with a person who knows it very well , enriches you much more than a classical tourist itinerary.
I think that nothing in life can enrich you more that experience. Visiting new places and meeting new people for me is the only thing that really matter.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to various genres of music, but my favourite genre is rock. I love also watching movies but I can't succeed in choosing one in particular because Cinema's history is full of masterpieces.
Instead, about books, I can say that I love Russian writers as Dostoevskij,Tolstoj, Bulgakov and Turgenev, but choosing some books in particular is difficult. The last book that I read and that I appreciated a lot is "Shantaram" by G.D.Roberts.

I lost a bet and I had to take a bath in the sea. In January.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that my hosts would say if I could teach something to them. Nevertheless, I know I will listen to their stories and I will tell mine. I like very much listening and speaking about a lot of arguements.
I will share the most that I can.
