Hi! My name is Salvatore and after spending my childhood and adolescence in my beloved hometown in South Italy, in 2013 I moved to the North to start my university studies and, later, for work

My greatest passion is sport, which for me is an essential way to overcome my limits and stay in touch with myself

In my daily life, I'm a methodical, precise, and ambitious person, due to my many commitments. However, if you have the pleasure of getting to know me, you'll also discover an ironic attitude and an accommodating as well as curious spirit, one that adapts easily to any situation

When I travel, on the other hand, I love to be carried away by my more impulsive and creative side. For me, traveling is not about collecting places, but a way to completely immerse myself in a new context and a new culture, combining exploration with moments of calm

If you are a person who appreciates authenticity and good company, I'm sure we'll get along!

**THINGS THAT ANNOY ME**
To ensure our experience together is pleasant for both of us, here are a few small details that make a difference for me

The most important thing: respect. A little respect for others and for the places we visit is the foundation for any good interaction

No clubbing nights: as I don't feel comfortable in those places, I much prefer a cozy pub or a quiet evening. Please don't suggest going to one

I'm not a fan of photo addiction. It's perfectly fine to capture a moment or a memory, but I don't like our time together being ruled by an endless sequence of shots

For me, CS represents the profound difference between simply visiting a place and truly living it, immersing myself in a different culture and discovering new places as a local

My desire is to improve my english and learn new languages, but most of all to share a small piece of my life and learn from others' lives

I've had the opportunity to experience all of this firsthand, starting with a formative experience in Geel, Belgium, where I was hosted by a family for a week during high school. The real turning point, however, came during my 7-month Erasmus program in Dortmund, where I met people from every corner of the world and formed authentic connections. In the end, my first CS experience in Quebec City in Canada confirmed that this is the best way to travel!

I hope to continue living these incredible experiences, meeting people who, like me, believe that the best souvenirs from a trip are the stories we share together

🏃Sport
If there's one thing that defines me, it's my passion for sports. I've practiced boxing at a competitive level, played volleyball in a regional championship, and I also do climbing. My curiosity has pushed me to try everything from soccer and tennis to basketball, swimming, padel, and skiing. In short, it's clear that I can't stay still! If you're up for it, we can explore the city by bike or go hiking

🎶Music
I can't get through a day without listening to some music, and my mood changes based on the genre I choose. If you have a band or an artist to recommend, I'm all ears! I've attended unforgettable concerts by Twenty One Pilots and Linkin Park. I have a ukulele that I never play, and if by chance you know how, I'd gladly accept some lessons!

As a big fan of games and Japanese culture, I gladly get lost in the world of manga and anime. I enjoy participating in fairs, meetings, and events, and I'm curious about everything that revolves around this universe

I am always curious to discover new cultures. I would love to learn some useful phrases in your language and I would really enjoy learning typical recipes from your country. I am also fascinated by local traditions and the unique ways of doing things that make each culture special

I believe that the best moments lie in the little things. If you are interested, we can discover the hidden treasures of the city, far from the tourist trails, during a leisurely stroll. We can talk about experiences, thoughts, hobbies, or simply exchange our perspectives on the world
