Hello there,

I’m Sam, a proud Zambian 🇿🇲 with a big love for travel and discovery. I try to visit at least two new places every year, most of my adventures have been solo, which I’ve found to be both incredibly freeing and sometimes a little lonely (but that’s where amazing people on Couchsurfing come in!).

I’m an outdoors enthusiast through and through.. I love camping, hiking, exploring new trails, and trying local foods and wines wherever I go. Lately, I’ve had to take a little pause after an ankle injury (a true traveler’s badge of honor, right? 😅), but the silver lining is it’s given me time to reflect, plan my next trips, and appreciate the slower side of life.

I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about people and their cultures. I believe the best memories come from spontaneous moments and real connections.

I’d love to learn about how people live, eat, and celebrate life in different parts of the world. In return, I can share stories from Zambia, local traditions, and maybe a few travel tales (including some funny lessons learned the hard way on the road!).
