Hello friends
I am 26 and work as a support worker in a mental health hospital just outside of Cardiff.
I live in in a lovely flat in a town called Penarth, which is 10 minutes from Cardiff central by train. There is a train station a 5 minute walk from the flat. Also within 10 minutes is the sea.
I enjoy spending a lot of my time writing as I wish to make some sort of living out of this. Currently writing a lot of spoken word poetry. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors; going for walks, swimming, exercising and just generally enjoying the world around me. I also like to paint, read, do yoga, meditate, play, make and listen to music, and cook, among other things.
I’m very easy going and am generally happy with whatever is going on around me.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I originally joined as I had a spare room in my flat and thought it would be cool to have people pass through from time to time. The room is no longer spare but I do have a couch that it would be pretty sweet to see some people sleeping on occasionally.
I have recently started enjoying solo travel and so I would like to have a go at experiencing the interesting situations that this platform can provide.
I have always been quite shy and introverted but have been working to turn this around in the last few years, and so I am keen to put myself in situations like this that can help me to continue developing my people skills, whilst meeting some cool people along the way.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Don’t tend to watch a lot of movies.
Listen to a lot of music, predominantly hip hop, r&b, soul, dub, but generally anything that just hits me in the right spot.
Read a lot of fictional books, mostly philosophy and psychology based. None stick out as a favourite but the last book I read was good; The language of emotions
