ABOUT ME

Really friendly bloke, pride myself on being very polite and considerate. Can be completely simple sometimes but hopefully in a charming way. When the occasion calls for it I can go crazy and piss it up with the best of them.

Have come traveling to change my life as it has been pretty much the same for the last ten years, also to gain some much needed confidence and to work out what I want to do with my life.

Went to Thailand in January 2013 for a month, all by myself, I'd never even been on a plane, had an amazing time.

Since then I arrived in Sydney in February, found a job in a supermarket and a place to stay and have been trying with varying success to save money to see the rest of Australia and New Zealand. 6 months later I'm ready to hit the road and look forward to meeting people and doing cool stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel very strongly that it's a lot more important to be kind and friendly than to be clever or good looking.
I have been a bit lost in life, not much self esteem or direction but I'm trying to change that through my travels :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately back at home I lived with my folks but I'm more than up for the fun of hosting once I've got my own spatchelor pad.
Would of course be more than happy to pay and/or offer any services and do my bit for anyone who is kind enough to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had one couchsurfing experience when I initially arrived in Sydney which was brilliant, I really enjoyed my stay, I think I did my fair share around the house and was a very gracious guest and became good friends with my host. Looking forward to similar experiences in the future.

Traveling, it would seem, think I've caught the bug now and have many plans.

Apart from that, didn't have many hobbies back home that was the point of coming out here. My friends I guess, meeting new people, all kinds of music, love TV and films too much! Very passionate about science fiction if there's any fellow nerds out there.

Favourite film is Deathproof by Quentin Tarantino, Zoe Bell is a legend! But I really love Sci-Fi! The alien films, Attack the block, Tremors, you name it!
All kinds of music, but some faves are Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, Chase and Status, Prodidgy, Kylie.
Would love to read more but two that stand out are The Catcher in the Rye by J D Salinger and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime, the author of which I forget.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walked the 1237 steps and 600 metres up to an amazing temple and the most beautiful view I've ever seen at Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi, Thailand.

The hustle and bustle of the Kao Sahn Road in Bangkok so much amazing stuff to see, still gutted I wimped out of eating a scorpion!

So much I saw in Thailand, and so much more I'd love to see.

Not too much knowledge to share I'm afraid but I'm a friendly guy and I think my main skill if any is lending and ear to or helping out anyone who needs it. I'm quite good with problems and would like to move in to a career where I could help people in the same way :-)
