Im on a round the world trip.....aiming to find myself, or lose myself! haven't decided yet! =)

ABOUT ME

Had a eurika moment sometime last year and decided I needed to see the world! That idea led to me handing in my notice at work and preparing for a year long trip which should take me to most corners of our wonderful planet! I hope to finish the trip with a better understanding of the world and my role within it. Whilst having a load fun and meeting loads of new people on the way! =)

PHILOSOPHY

I was officially a member of the blinkered London City rat race before I had my eurika moment last year! If you had asked me my opinions on life 12 months ago I would have said to become a millionaire twice over in the next five years. I am happy to say that my outlook on life is a far cry from that now. I have seen and learnt so much through my experiences travelling around that I guess my sole aim in life is to continue having fun and being happy! If that involves riches then so be it but I won't be rushing myself in to a heart attack to achieve my millions. Guess I'm getting a bit philosophical now but hey that was the question =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to the CS community, I recently found out about the site through another traveller and as I have been travelling with two friends form home up till now I was unable to utilise the site. I hope to meet people I would have otherwise never met if it wasn't for this site! When/If I finally settle somewhere I will definitely offer up my couch as I think this is a wicked idea!

I enjoy learning new stuff, experiencing new things, meeting new people and making friends! Guess those are the criteria for a happy traveller! So most of you guys must be like me! :P

Books......I like to read most things on this trip I have read a diverse range of books from Stephen Hawkings Briefer History of Time, to a novel about a drug smuggler who spent five years in a bolivian jail.

I also love films of most genres although don't see the point in horror/scary films. Not that I am a pussy, just don't enjoy them!

I am currently trying to write a book based on my round the world adventures, maybe you might end up as a character!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This last six months have superseeded anyhting that I have done before in my life! I have seen most of the wonders of south america, the puerto morino glacier in southern Argentina, Table Mountain in South Africa. Hopefully the second half of this year will allow me to see untold more fascinating things! =)
